Original Decor: Classy Market 3.0/Sienna
Current Decor: Classy SiEvergreen 1.0/Garden Haus

Welcome to my first post! This store is one of the most interesting Publixes I have ever been to, as it has a one-of-a-kind decor: Classy SiEvergreen 1.0/Garden Haus.

I did not take a picture of the front of this store, so here’s one from Google Streetview.

Now, let’s go inside and experience Classy SiEvergreen 1.0/Garden Haus.

The front end.

The very strange bakery with Sienna letters (minus the parts that say “Publix” and “Established 1957”) and Evergreen paint.

A closer view of the wheat graphic. This is not what is usually in this spot in standard Sienna stores. I originally thought it was added as part of this unique remodel, but according to Google Images, it was there when this store had Sienna.

The Del(i).

The produce department. Notice how the seafood department looks exactly the way it would look in a Sienna store, but the produce department looks about ready to receive its Evergreen signage. All of the A/C ducts were still brown for Sienna.

Here’s the SiEvergreen meats department.

Seafood.

An overview of the meats and seafood departments, as well as a little bit of produce.

The back actionway.

A bit further along.

This store had the “George Jenkins Bagging Groceries” photograph for some reason.
More pictures from the front of the store are next.

It also had 10 checkout lanes, which is abnormally high for Publix.

Another photo of the bakery.

The front actionway.

Unnumbered checkout lanes were another oddity in this store.

We’ll finish off this post by looking at a Google Earth aerial photo of the store taken on November 13, 2015, about a month after it opened.

That’s all I have for now, so come back on June 10 for a post on a store that looks like it belongs in 2005!

Until then,

  1. Welcome, Mr. RejoiceRetail, to the the Grocery blogosphere! I see you’re also adding fuel as an interest. I’m assuming it will become clear how they’re related as time goes on:)

This truly is a strange Publix with its hybrid decor and Southern Plantation-like exterior columns. Looks like something from Harry Potter!

Looking forward to your June 10th retrospective as you rewind the clock to 2005.
